How It Works
Senescent cells are damaged cells that resist apoptosis (programmed cell death) by upregulating the FOXO4–p53 interaction in their nucleus. FOXO4-DRI is a D-retro-inverso peptide that disrupts this interaction, releasing p53 to trigger the mitochondrial apoptosis pathway. This selectively eliminates senescent cells while sparing healthy cells, effectively clearing the body's "zombie cells."
Common Research Protocols
Research Dosing Range
As a cutting-edge research compound, established human protocols are very limited. Animal studies used IP injection at 5 mg/kg three times per week. This is one of the most experimental peptides available — human dosing data is scarce. Consult the latest literature before any research use.

Reconstitution Guide
Follow these steps to properly reconstitute FOXO4-DRI for research use:
- Step 1: Swab the tops of both the peptide vial and bacteriostatic water vial with alcohol.
- Step 2: Draw your desired amount of BAC water (commonly 1–2 mL) into an insulin syringe.
- Step 3: Inject the water slowly into the peptide vial, aiming at the glass wall — not directly onto the powder.
- Step 4: Swirl the vial gently until fully dissolved — never shake.
- Step 5: Refrigerate at 36–46°F (2–8°C). Use within 4–6 weeks.
Use the dosing calculator to calculate your exact concentration (mcg per unit) and how many units to draw on your syringe.
Frequently Asked Questions
How does FOXO4-DRI work? ▾

What are the key research findings? ▾
- Restored fur density, fitness, and kidney function in naturally aged mice
- Selectively targets senescent cells without harming healthy tissue
- Reduced markers of aging and improved physical performance in animal models
- Represents a novel approach to aging — clearing damage rather than preventing it
What is the typical dosing protocol? ▾
As a cutting-edge research compound, established human protocols are very limited. Animal studies used IP injection at 5 mg/kg three times per week. This is one of the most experimental peptides available — human dosing data is scarce. Consult the latest literature before any research use.
How should FOXO4-DRI be stored? ▾
Unreconstituted powder should be stored in a freezer or refrigerator away from light and moisture. Once reconstituted with bacteriostatic water, refrigerate at 36–46°F (2–8°C) and use within 4–6 weeks. Never freeze reconstituted peptides.
